Terms of Use

This is a plain summary of how BreastpumpJe works and what we expect from the people who use it. It is written in ordinary English, not by a lawyer, and it is not legal advice. If you need advice about your own situation, speak to a Malaysian lawyer.

What BreastpumpJe is

BreastpumpJe is a directory. Pump Owners publish listings for breastpumps they own, and Renters browse those listings and send a Qualified Enquiry to a Pump Owner. That is the whole service: discovery and contact.

What BreastpumpJe is not

We are not a party to any Rental. We do not take payment, confirm bookings, hold deposits, deliver pumps, or handle collection and handover. We do not inspect, clean, test, or certify any pump. We do not sell or rent pumps ourselves.

The Renter and the Pump Owner agree the price, dates, deposit, handover, and everything else directly with each other. That agreement is between the two of them.

No commission

Listing a pump is free and we take no commission on a Rental. The Pump Owner keeps the full rental amount. If this ever changes, we will say so here before it applies to you.

Who can use BreastpumpJe

You must be at least 18 years old. Pump Owners sign in with a Google account and are responsible for anything done through that account. Renters do not need an account and have no profile here.

Pump Owner responsibilities

You must actually own the pump you list. Do not list a pump you do not own or are not allowed to rent out.
Your listing must be accurate: the real brand, model, condition, accessories, price, deposit, and availability.
Your photos must be of the actual pump you are renting out.
Hygiene and cleaning claims, including the sanitised date, are your own statement. We do not check them, and we label them on the site as owner-reported, not verified.
You are responsible for following any Malaysian law that applies to you, including rules on medical devices and consumer protection.
Keep your listing current. Pause or remove it when the pump is not available.

Renter responsibilities

Give real contact details in an enquiry so the Pump Owner can reply.
Ask the questions that matter to you before you agree to anything, and inspect the pump at handover.
Treat the pump with care and return it as agreed with the Pump Owner.
Only leave a Review for a Rental you actually completed. One Review per completed Rental.

Hygiene and safety

A breastpump is a personal item. Anything on this site about cleaning, sanitising, or condition comes from the Pump Owner, not from us, and we do not verify it.

Nothing here is medical advice. Follow the pump manufacturer's guidance on whether a model is suitable for shared use, and replace the personal parts, such as breast shields, valves, membranes, tubing, and bottles, with new ones of your own. If you are unsure, check with a lactation consultant or a doctor.

Reviews

A Renter can leave one Review after a Rental the Pump Owner has marked completed. Reviews are public on the Pump Owner's profile. Keep them honest and about the actual Rental. We may remove a Review that is abusive, off-topic, or clearly fake.

Prohibited use

Listing pumps you do not own, or listing anything that is not a breastpump or its accessories.
False, misleading, or copied listing details and photos.
Harassment, threats, or abusive messages to another user.
Scams, fake enquiries, fake Reviews, or attempts to move people off the platform to defraud them.
Scraping, bulk-collecting other people's contact details, or using them for marketing.
Trying to break, overload, or get around the security of the site.

Reporting and moderation

Any listing or Pump Owner can be reported from its page. You do not need an account to report, and a report does not record who sent it. A Moderator reviews every report and follows up, which can include asking a Pump Owner to correct a listing, or removing the listing or the account.

A Moderator can also mark a Pump Owner as verified. That badge only means a Moderator reviewed the account. It is not an inspection of the pump and not a promise that a Rental will go well.

Ending an account

You can stop using BreastpumpJe at any time and ask us to remove your account and listings through WhatsApp support. We can suspend or remove an account or a listing that breaks these terms, or that we reasonably believe puts other users at risk.

Limitation of liability

BreastpumpJe is provided as it is. We do not guarantee that a listing is accurate, that a pump is safe, clean, or working, that a Pump Owner or Renter will do what they promised, or that the site will always be available.

To the extent Malaysian law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from a Rental, from a pump, from anything a user says or does, or from your use of the site. Nothing here removes rights you have under Malaysian law that cannot be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top shows the last update. Continuing to use BreastpumpJe after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the Malaysian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
